As you know my playing days during the sixties were with a Double Bass and Fender Jazz bass guitar, playing jazz and a mixture of music. Your Hi Tech RLB Bass feels and sounds like the two put together which is an incredible achievement. "Alan, Hi- thought you might like to know that the Bassmaster is working hard. So far it's stood up to cheesy jazz gigs and some sets with an 8 piece swing band. Last weekend used it for some of a gig in a marquee-even though the temperature was all over the place, the tuning didn't slip once. I've been really impressed- and had lots of very positive comments from bothplayers and non-players....I recently took the old double bass for a run of shows in Leamington - lots or arco stuff so back to the pickup/outboard preamp setup.
